So it has been one busy week (thankfully). One week is down, and nothing has happened to the dogs nor the house. I must say though, I have never realized how much Brad does around here since he has been gone, and I appreciate everything he does. Here are some things I have noticed: Dog poop- Brad cleans up the dog poop (which I truly appreciate!), he is the one who usually takes care of the yard work (including weeding the gardens), he cleans the kitchen sink (you know scrubs with comet), he takes the trash and recycling out plus he collects all the other little trash cans through out the house, he rolls the trash cans to the curb and brings them back to the house, also I've noticed he is the one who actually does most of the laundry, AND he is the one who usually empties the dishwasher! Sheesh, what a guy! But other than realizing all that he does I have done some other things...
Spring is in the Air!
Here are a few pictures of the flower garden:

I have begun my vegetable Garden...
Before:

During...
(This is Chris who is helping me, and to think he was even sick when he did this, what a nice brother-in-law!)
And After...

And I have been hanging with the dogs, this is what they have been up to (This is especially for Brad).

So Brad, while I was preparing the garden the dogs who live behind us were outside the whole time! Growling and doing that mean bark they do so well. After a while Syd got used to them but every now and then, as if she were bored, she would get up walk over to the fence and just hit the fence with her paw and got all the dogs wild up again, then she would walk off just as in this picture.
Also during this week a nephew was added to the fam. To look at pics click on the blog for Aubrey and Cole. He is a very cute baby!
Wow Julie! The garden looks fabulous! we better see pics of all the veggies in a couple months!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to be eating those veggies in a couple of months! I hope it turns out, I didn't fertilize it this time around.
