The Golden State

Brad and I are enjoying our trip to sunny California. However, I apologize there will not be any pictures until we get home, it takes too long to upload photos on the blog. But we are loving our stay here. And I have to say, traveling with Brad is awesome! There are definite perks with his job other than miles, people bend over backwards for him!
Anyway, Sea World was fantastic, I love the killer whales and dolphins, and the seals oh I just love everything about that! And Disneyland is as magical as ever. However, today we are dealing with smoke, ash is in the air, and we even smell like a camp fire because LA is on fire, but even with that we couldn't be happier! And tonight we have reservations at the Blue Bayou, which I am thrilled for! Anyway now that I just rubbed that in your face we hope you are doing well too!

  1. You suck. Simple as that. I'm kidding of course, but it was trying to snow here this morning! Continue to have a great trip!

  2. Hi Julie,

We just watched the news (Saturday evening 6:30 P.M.) and it was full of the news of the fires. So many beautiful homes burning up. What a shame. All the reporters were wearing masks and one even had goggles to protect his eyes.

Once, Pop and I were in LA and we were there for 3 days before we were able to see the mountains because of the smog.

Two years ago we went out to the Pasadena Parade and the Rose Bowl and it TEEMED rain the entire time we were there. We never even got to the parade or the game.

Now that they could use all that rain, they don't get it.

Anyway, Julie and Brad, I am glad you are enjoying yourselves out there.
