Weekend with my parents

So my parents came into town last weekend, and I realized I didn't take any pictures but luckily for google images I found pictures from our activities.
We spent a day at the Salt Lake Temple which is gorgeous.

Brad took my Dad to the Kennecott Copper Mine.

Then and we also spent an afternoon at Gardner Village, which was fabulous.

And we ate at one of my new favs Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
It was a wonderful visit that of course went too quick, but we all enjoyed ourselves.
Thanks Mom and Dad !

  1. Julie,

It's so funny that you mentioned Five Guys Burgers.

I had never heard of them but on my flight from Florida last week I had a 2 hour stopover in Washington,D.C. and in the airport I found a Five Guys and I was really hungry so I thought,"I know this is going to be a terrible burger but I'm hungry so here goes."

Well, it was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and topped with every condiment you liked. If I ever see another Five Guys I will go there.

By the way, Brad will not be able to fool me about where he is if he ever goes to D.C. because I had the window seat and the views of the Potomac and the Washington Monument,Lincoln Memorial etc, were spectacular. The White House was too low to be visible and planes are not allowed to fly over it anyway.

So, Brad if you go to D.C. skip the game that week........

  3. Emily!! I love imposters from the McKay Ward! The burger place is in Ft. Union, right by the Michael's and Distribution Center, next to Pei Wei. I think it's delicious. It's the Inn and Out of the east.
