Another Year Older

 This little lady turned 2.
It was a while ago but I am just catching up.

It was a fun low-key day.
She attended "Explorer Camp".
(A camp our neighbor girls put on to earn some money -
it was for the "bigger" kids but since it was her birthday they let her come)
We then enjoyed shaved ice.

That night we had pink cupcakes, upon her request.

She was afraid of the fire.
I guess we taught that concept a bit too well.

I can't believe it's been two years. I still remember what it was like bringing her home.
Our house was crazy with a two year old and a newborn.
Her first 6 months are a bit of a blur.
I notice I don't nearly have as many pictures of her as her big Sis.
(Or videos) but it's not because I love her any less. I am just busy being her mom.

About our girl:

She is fiesty.
She is sweet.
She loves animals.
She catches on to things very quickly.
She is a snuggler.
She loves her sister and wants to do everything she does.
Being littler frustrates her.
She loves food.
She loves her Mama.
She doesn't eat carbs very well, other than pasta.
Yeah, not a fan of cake, cookies, donuts, or breads.
But does love rice.
 Her favorite food is noodles.
She developed an allergy to dairy. She loves cheese, yogurt and milk.
Luckily, she drinks almond milk just fine.
 Sharing is not her thing.
She is sensitive.
 She loves her "bankie" (Blankie).
She loves being wrapped in it like a baby.
She will say "Bankie Baby".
She asks to be tickled.
She loves, LOVES sweat shirts or "set shirts".
It can be 100 degrees and she asks to wear one.
She cries if I don't let her.
She got sweat shirts for her birthday.
She loves books.
Currently her favorite movie is the "Jungle Book" we have to watch it at least once a day.
She tries really really hard to be independent and she is stubborn.
She loves our neighbor April.

She brings such fire and passion to our family.
I look forward (but can wait) to see how she blossoms.
We love her.
