Browne Lake 2009

Browne Lake, the annual Nielsen Family Camping Trip. It was a little cooler this year and a little wetter but it didn't damper our spirits we still had a marvelous time taking in the luscious beauty, enjoying each other's company, and getting some R&R.

This year Chris borrowed this baby for the trip. This was our home for the last 5 days.

Sweet Dixie Pix, who could be quite a turd this trip (yes, I called her a turd).

Sydney indulging in the opportunity of getting dirty, and I unable to do anything about it.

Cody and Blue.

TEE TIME!!!

Golf lessons with Uncle Mike

Testing out the dirt bike.
What "up to no good" looks like.

Gone fishin'

Chris with the fish - we ate delicious trout on Monday for lunch. Nothing beats fresh fish.

I actually gutted a FISH!! I was challenged and I couldn't let them win!

Uncle Chris (and yes that is what we call him, as he is quite the dotting uncle to these two as you can tell) took the dogs for a ride in the boat while he fished. Sydney loved it, she preferred standing up at the front, leading the vessel you could say. Dixie didn't quite like it as much.

Chris was kind enough to stop and pick us and give us a ride.

Syd looks in her element, don't ya think?

Cheesy brotherly pictures.
Haha my favorite!

  1. Looks like fun. I like that pic of Brad crouched down with the dogs. And, of course, you gutting the fish. I take it you've never done that before?

  3. Haha yeah, a self-imposed time out. Yah, this was my first time I gutted a fish, and I'm surprisingly pretty proud of myself.
