So we arrived in Pennsylvania. Yesterday, Brad went to Gettysburg, where he cha
rged up Little Round Top, rock climbed the Devil’s Den, reenacted Pickett’s Charge, observed the “Fish Hook” of the Union Line, and saw the Lutheran Seminary. Okay, he didn’t really charge, rock climb, or reenact anything, but he did have a wonderful time with the Gettysburg Guide of all Gettysburg Guides… my dad.
While the guys were visiting Gettysburg, the ladies conquered the mall.
This morning Brad and I visited our favorite most beloved breakfast place.
We never made it to Shady Maple, but heard about it more than once. I wish I was spending the day shopping at K. of Prussia. Sounds like a fun, although short, trip!
ReplyDeleteWhat-shopping without the mall queen? What about the outlets? Cody is wondering when he gets breakfast at Shady Maple.
ReplyDeleteJulie...your blog is making me heartsick. I miss PA so much. Alaska is beautiful, but...well, it's just not has comfortably beautiful as PA. I can't honestly say that I miss Shady Maple that much because I didn't go there very often, but I miss the green (we have green, but only for like 3 months) and the blue and the everything! And I CANNOT believe you went to the KoP mall. I will whisper this so that all Alaska lovers can't hear...THERE IS NO GOOD SHOPPING UP HERE!!! Oh, how I miss KoP!!! By the way, I like AK...but I miss PA. Post more pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteIn-Laws: No outlets this trip, we only brought two suitcases, and one was a small one! And Cody can go to Shady Maple but it would have to be one of his cheat days :)
