I awoke to a beautiful spring morning (okay in all reality at 5:30 in the morning you don't know what morning you are waking up to - but I knew it was going to be a nice day so mentally I did). I put on the first sandals of the season - it's going to be 60 today, told the husband good morning and marched out the door.

Marched into another door, to find these beauties at my desk:

Blessed spring, oh how I missed thee.

Yeah, it's going to be a good day.

Mornings

On mornings such as today's when I have to force myself to crawl out of my warm bed and embrace the cold day ahead of me.

Why?!?

Will someone please explain to me (however, when it comes to me and the English language I'm helpless). But why on earth is the shorten word for refrigerator spelled fridge when there is no "d" in the original word. Why is not spelled "frige"? Does this bug anyone else?

As many of you know by now Brad and I have become "Lost" Fanatics. Brad was away on business last week so I took the opportunity to give him a Valentine's day surprise (early).

I made these labels and this was waiting for him when he got home... (don't worry it's root beer)

And I'm so proud of myself.
